Assignment four: Quadrant Abstraction

Quadrant:

Simple construction with cut popsicle sticks:

                                          Dripping the white acrylic paint on the wood:

I thought to focus on the humanoid figures in the quadrant and keep them lined up next to each other. I wanted to keep the whole sculpture white due to the fact the figures are light. I also really enjoy the look of the clay's natural color as it dries. They seem to be stuck in a space in the drawing and i thought to have them stuck in the space they're in, immobile. the figures cant get out the boxes and the head can't really move on its own.
