The Queen's Hamlet:
This is a souvenir postcard from 1944, a place for the queen to relax and have private meetings with friends. It seems to have the idea of simple, quiet living whilst having social class.
Ha-Ha
Ha-has are recessed walls that act as fences without having the look of a fence.
Park of the Monsters:
Built in the 16th century this complex is mannerist and commisionned by Pier Francesco orsini has a surrealist feel to it

The boboli garden had influenced the making of the medici fountain by marie de medici which was designed by Tommaso francini. There are many fountains, sculptures, and monuments around the gardens

Picturesque seems to be what we deem as beautiful, serene, and quaint. In my opinion all gardens are picturesque, there wouldn't be a time where I wouldn't want to be in a garden. If i were to choose a garden that would fit this description it would be the Queen's hamlet or the Stourhead.
