Assignment One: Street or Garden

This piece is meant to capture the essence of Miami's architecture and atmosphere by making a viewer interact with the piece. A slideshow of different areas of miami are shown inside of the box where the viewer is meant to look through. It may cause a bit of strain to the eye where there is such a small hole to look through, signifying the importance of viewing and to show how we tend to overlook and perhaps belittle the kinds of buildings we have in Miami. I made this piece with the intention of representing Miami and to celebrate its quirks, attributes, and to perhaps give a sort of personal experience.
